AAK Runcorn

AAK Runcorn is the home to AAK Foods, a major manufacturer and supplier of sauces, condiments, and dressings to the retail and foodservice sectors.
Our private label work has won awards for taste and quality, and our products can be found on the shelves of stores throughout the world. From our site on Davy Road, to the east of the town centre, we work with customers to co-develop new recipes for grocery private label products, retail restaurants, quick service restaurants, foodservice and food ingredients.

Responsibilities

Manage the booking schedule, taking bookings from Hauliers by email and telephone.
Receive incoming goods and materials, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes as well as completing the Goods In inspection sheet and booking the stock onto the stock control system ( MTMS )
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations in the goods in area.
Perform against a set number of KPI’s and measure deliveries against KPI’s for lateness etc…
Carry out daily and weekly PI stocktakes.
Monitor shelf life of stock and raise concessions as required.
Quarterly stock checks will be completed, which will require some weekend working.
Ensure all stock is booked in with any discrepancies resolved and complete reconciliation of warehouse invoices for month end close.
Previous experience as a Goods In clerk, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.

About you

Knowledge of the policies, processes, and systems of warehouse management.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
Excellent communication skills.
Team player with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
Previous experience in using inventory management software/systems.
Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.

Salary: Starting at £28,771.00 DOE plus an annual shift allowance of £#####.69
Hours: Monday to Friday 6-2 and 2-10 but must be capable of doing day shifts (possibly 8-4) to cover holidays and must be able to work the occasional night shift if required.
Location: Runcorn, United Kingdom
Contract: Full time, permanent
