Morgan McKinley is pleased to be supporting our growing global client based in Bristol. They are looking for a Global Payroll Service Delivery Lead to join the business. This newly created role offers the opportunity to put your own stamp on the global payroll process and is an opportunity to work for an incredibly exciting, successful, and resilient company.

This Global Payroll Service Delivery Lead role offers growth and succession planning whilst working closely with the payroll team and wider organisation.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Create, develop and execute a global payroll strategy, aligning with business objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing for multiple countries and regions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with payroll providers and vendors to ensure seamless payroll delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with global payroll regulations, tax laws, and social security requirements in each jurisdiction.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of global payroll operations.
  • Develop and implement global payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure consistent practices and compliance.
  • Stay updated with payroll legislation, industry trends, and emerging technologies in global payroll management.
  • Lead and manage a team of payroll professionals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders
  • Lead global payroll projects, such as system implementations, upgrades, and payroll harmonization initiatives.
  • Coordinate year-end payroll processes, including tax reporting, annual statements, and compliance filings

The ideal candidate:

  • Strong payroll background with a minimum of 7yrs experience in leading Global Payroll Operations/ Payroll transformation
  • High level of payroll technical expertise and service delivery
  • Proven track record of effective leadership
  • Experience of managing/supporting complex Global Payroll projects/ transformation programs
  • Knowledge of global payroll practices, regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements across multiple countries and regions.
  • Extensive experience in managing relationships with global payroll service providers and vendors.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software or systems for end-to-end payroll processing and excellent understanding of HRIS systems and their integration with payroll systems.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive process improvements and optimize payroll operations.
  • Understanding of data protection regulations and confidentiality requirements in handling employee information.

The package:

  • Salary - �80,000 - �90,000 DOE
