We can lead by transforming performance, delivering for our clients at scale and speed, raising standards and making a difference.To help support our future long-term ambition and vision for growth, we are looking for a high calibre person to support our Global Internal Communications team.Job DescriptionAs part of our Global internal communications team, you will work closely with the Global Internal Communications Lead and Global Director of Corporate Communications to deliver the Internal Communications strategy and plan, working with colleagues around the globe to ensure consistent messaging.Current strategic areas of focus for the team are: supporting culture change across the business by embedding our Commitment to Inclusion, driving employee advocacy and corporate pride through great storytelling and evolving our internal communications channels enabling us to measure our impact more effectively.This role will business partner effectively with our Business Services teams (HR, IT, Digital, Corporate Responsibility, Risk) to deliver internal communications that engage our people around key initiatives that form part of the company’s Vision 2025 strategy. The role line manages our Global Internal Communications Executive and will also involve working closely with our external communications, digital marketing and content and campaigns teams to deliver a consistent brand experience to our people.Content, campaigns and planningSupport the Global Internal Communcations Lead to develop and deliver the strategic IC plan aligned with overall business objectives. Business partner with our Business Services teams (HR, IT, Digital, Corporate Responsibility, Risk) to deliver key messages and internal communications that engage our people around strategic business initiatives.Manage and deliver the IC calendar each year, working closely with Business Services’ teams and our regional colleagues in different global market to ensure key dates and awareness campaigns (such as World Mental Health Day, Earth Day and our Global Games) are coordinated and delivered with impact.Support our communications colleagues around the world with best practice internal communications, to ensure our messaging and campaigns are cascaded effectively and consistently. Provide toolkits, templates, guidance and advice as needed.Oversee management of our global monthly newsletter T2, continually evolving the editorial direction and ensuring it acts as a key driver of strategic messages and stories to all our colleagues.Drive engagement with Viva Engage within the business, supporting community development and positioning it as the ‘go-to’ place for peer-to-peer communication, while supporting senior leaders on how to use the platform effectively.Work closely with the Knowledge Management team, who own and manage our SharePoint intranet, to keep our global homepage fresh and engaging and ensure timely, relevant news content is published on the intranet and amplified across other channels.QualificationsSkills requiredExperience in producing impactful, compelling global communications that drive brand advocacy and corporate pride for a diverse internal audience, including non-office-based colleagues and colleagues, based around the world.Significant experience in internal campaign management, executing against campaign plans and delivering on time and on budget.A journalistic understanding of good content with excellent copywriting and storytelling skills, with demonstrable experience in simplifying complex topics to create clear and persuasive copy.A passion for people-centric communications, communicating diversity and inclusion initiatives working closely with HR teams.Experience in effectively managing relationships with creative agencies to deliver fresh, new ideas while working to tight budgets.
