Global Head of Security Operations

Job DescriptionLocation: Bristol (preferred), or Edinburgh - 2 days per weekWe are working with a well-established Financial Services organisation who are looking to bring in a Global Head of Security Operations as part of their internal restructure. As the Global Head of Security Operations you will get the opportunity to help strategise the direction of the organisation whilst taking charge of a Team of 6 (growing to 8) Analysts across multiple levels. This role will have a Global remit, with offices worldwide and requires someone who understands the low-level technical detail whilst being able to operate and communicate at a high-level.Experience:Previous experience leading a global SOC teamEffectively run incident queue management & act as an escalation point for major incidentsPrevious experience building a SOC-functionExperience working within Cloud environments, and collaborating with Architecture & Engineering teams to achieve resultsA keen eye for emerging technologies and trendsDocumentation development: processes, procedures, runbooksEstablish plans for automation using next-gen toolsetsThis role would be best suited to someone who is used to working within regulated industries such as Finance or Insurance and has the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders globally. The base salary for the position is upto £120,000 with a healthy benefits package and would require someone who is able to be on site 2 days per week.
