Job Description
We are partnered with a Global Asset Manager who are aiming to make an integral hire within their Global Distribution business unit. This strategic business leader will provide operational leadership and oversight of the performance by leading business planning, business administration, program management and support for the Head of Distribution.
Responsibilities
Leads a team of Business and Project management associates driving forward the business agenda.
Tracks priorities and follows up as needed with leaders to drive execution and meet deadlines, serve as a sounding board on key priorities and challenges, removing roadblocks as needed.
Sets agendas for and facilitates team meetings, in partnership with the Head of Distribution and lead team, to drive execution.
Enables creation of efficiency, scalability, and capacity through development of policies, practices, and processes for repeatable work.
In conjunction with Head of Distribution, design and then monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operations and implement improvements as needed.
Works with the in-region GMs to ensure there is a global lens applied to initiatives as appropriate.
In partnership with The HR business Partner, supports programs impacting the workforce planning, recruitment, development, and retention of top talent
Supports the DE&I agenda across the region and broader Global Distribution groups.
This role will be acting as the Operating Sponsor for complex, multi-regional program, essential for company growth which has Group Board visibility .
Actively participates in GD GM network and represents regional organization in other forums across the firm, as needed. Ensures information is cascaded and shared efficiently.
Works with key internal partners and stakeholders outside (HR, Finance, etc.) on key processes and activities to drive and ensure coordination across the various partner areas.
Experience Required
Academic excellence, with an MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
Able to demonstrate first class Business Management / General Management experience, ideally from an Asset Management background.
Strong track records in people management with experience identifying and developing talent
Previous exposure working in a Global organization across multiple time zones
Decisive, thoughtful with the ability to develop solutions to a myriad of problems/challenges
High levels of personal and professional integrity
Demonstrated innovation, creative and critical thinking
Strong communicator, with interpersonal skills, influencing, diplomacy and relationship management
Effective project management, change and co-ordination abilities. Project management accreditation would be an advantage.
