Global Equity Product Specialist

A global asset manager is looking to hire a Product Specialist to join the Global Equities team. This role will sit in the Investment team and will be responsible for the product and business development for the Global Equity team. The successful candidate will an integral member of the Global Equity team and be fully immersed in the investment process.Main Duties:Participate in meetings with consultants, existing clients and prospectsArticulate investment philosophy and process of Global Equity team to consultants and clientsPoint of contact for all technical questions related to the equity fund rangeAssist in the writing of market reviews, investment commentary and pitchbooksSupport the development of marketing materials to articulate investment strategy and capabilitiesPrimary interface between the investment team and Sales & Marketing teamsProduce thought-leadership pieces on thematic topicsLiaise closely with the ESG team on corporate engagements and ESG investment issuesAssist Portfolio Managers and Equity Analysts on ad-hoc analysis and projectsKey requirements:Ideally 3-5 years relevant institutional buy side experienceTechnically minded, with a passion for equity investingWorking towards or completed CFA qualificationTeam playerPersonable, articulate and willingness to learnNote, this is a highly competitive position.
