Global Equity Analyst

A global Asset Management firm is seeking an Equity Analyst to join their highly regarded global research team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an entrepreneurial environment, with a flat management structure which allows analysts to command a lot of responsibility.Key responsibilities:Work independently to develop and maintain a thorough understanding of assigned sectors, and the companies within them, on an operational and financial level including their competitive position and how they operate within that industryMake sound investment recommendations to Portfolio ManagersBuild complex financial models to performance analysis on financial performance, returns on capital and valuationLead meetings with company management, including ESG engagement and site visitsAnalyse “big data” and how it offers insight into company operating performance, as well as meeting with competitors and customersProviding research reports for the rest of the investment teams and providing relevant insights on recent events or resultsIdeal Profile:Relevant experience as an equity analyst on the buy-side or sell-sideProven ability to identify investment ideas and communicate convictionsExcellent analytical and numerical skillsStudying towards or have completed CFASelf-starter, entrepreneurial with a clear passion for investingMason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
