Global Category Manager - Fit Out | £75,000 to £85,000 | 20% bonus | full corporate benefits package | REMOTE UK/Europe | Global FTSE 100 Group across 50+ countries This is an amazing, brand new position working for a large multibillion turnover, FTSE 100 services business who have scoped out a new role to strategically manage their group wide Fit Out spend, engaging with stakeholders globally. You'll be managing a significant spend value, which will cover a range of FF&E, Fit Out. You will engage with local MD's and C-suite stakeholders in your relevant business areas, so deep supplier market knowledge is key. Ideal person, will have have experience working for large global, complex and corporate companies where high levels of complex spend have been managed. Any previous experience working for any large Management Consultancies would be a plus, due to the different business arms and wide stakeholder landscape. Role and responsibilities: Create a global Fit Out strategy through to the delivery and performance including year on year annualised savings Develop group wide category plans and strategies to ensure alignment for the group, leveraging suppliers to support local offices Support the development of global category strategies to a clear and prioritised pipeline of sourcing projects Engage, manage and influence senior stakeholders from Director to Board level to ensure buy-in, utilising strong market knowledge Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a rounded knowledge of a suppliers performance Monitor supplier risk and performance through reporting tools and business feedback Be a Procurement role model by living company values, consistently delivering to the high standards expected, promoting procurement through relationships On top over delivering strategic projects, ensure the business is getting the best service in line with cost efficiency Experience and requirements: Deep technical category experience within large spend Fit Out, FF&E or Soft FM, covering a wide range of sub-categories Worked for FTSE sized, Blue Chip companies - Management Consultancy experience is Preferred Previous experience working on complex global projects, dealing with Tier 1 suppliers of significant values Confident in engaging and influencing senior level stakeholders, and across various regions A highly strategic mindset when approaching procurement, suppliers and business needs Will have a track record of relevant category management, effecting change and continuous improvement through implementation of innovative category strategies Excellent communications skills when dealing with contacts in different cultures and countries Able to adapt in a very fast paced, continuously changing environment MCIPS qualified, nice to have but not essential Seniority levelSeniority level Mid-Senior level Employment typeEmployment type Full-time Job functionJob function Marketing and Sales Industries Staffing and Recruiting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at RemoteWorker UK by 2xGet notified about new
