Global Business Analyst and EMEA Retail Coordinator

Purpose of PositionProvide global and across channels sales reports, and analytical support to the commercial department. Actively part of the budget and reforecast processes, as well as of the strategy plan elaboration. Acting as a liaison between Commercial and various departments – particularly Finance and Systems.Help optimise the operations within the EMEA DTC stores and improve efficiencies of retail processes, ensuring that operations are at an optimal standard level. This will be achieved through collaborating closely with various departments in the company.Key Responsibilities:Global Business AnalystProduce and send global cross-channel weekly sales reports.Regular data analysis to provide insights into business performance.Heavily involved in the yearly sales budget and reforecast processes.Manage the collating, analysing, reporting, and evaluating of sales, working in conjunction with the Chief Commercial Officer.Business Strategy Support: collaborate with stakeholders across different departments and regions to understand business needs and priorities.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the retail landscape.Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives such as market expansion, product launches, and pricing strategiesProcess Improvements: Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in business processes and workflows.Propose and implement solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiencyMonitor the impact of process changes and measure success through key metrics and performance indicators.Work on regular company meetings’ presentations and reporting. /li>Responsible for diverse cross-channels ad hoc projects.Support the Head of Retail & Business Development EMEA in creating and implementing departmental procedures.Work closely with the store managers to maintain and develop commercial and operational performance of each store to maximise sales and profitability.Support the store managers to achieve the retail KPI’s as well as ensuring targets are provided and updated if necessary.Ensure retail operations are run smoothly: this includes however not limited to procedures, stock takes, back of house standards, etc.Analyse expenses by store to ensure spend is within budget.Involved in the inventory management cycle, and help maintain optimal stock levels on the sales floor, following Manolo Blahnik visual guidelines and standards.Partner with the People & Culture team to support the store teams.Support the Head of Retail & Business Development EMEA on all aspects of the store opening process, managing the required third parties.Communicate retail updates to store managers and store teams.Skills and Experience Required:Must have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Commercial department, having operated in luxury businessesProven experience as a business or data analyst.In-depth knowledge of the luxury market is required.Strong business acumen, organisational skills, co-ordination and attention to detail.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.Structured and capable of dealing with several tasks simultaneously.Strong verbal and written communication skills, across all stakeholders internally and externally.Brand Ambassador: A strong and passionate team player.Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint required.Our Commitment to Diversity, Equality and Inclusion:Manolo Blahnik is an equal opportunity employer and are committed to preserving a caring, diverse and inclusive culture with people who feel a real sense of belonging.
