MPS/UPS salary + potential TLR payment

We are working with a school in the Somerset area who are looking for a permanent, part-time German Teacher to join their team, starting in September 2024.

The successful candidate would be asked to deliver German teaching to KS 3/4 students in their brand new building at their spacious and welcoming rural campus.

The salary for this position is on the Main/Upper Pay Scale, and they may also be able to top this up with an additional TLR payment. The package includes a teacher's pension, and a very generous non-term time holiday allowance.

The successful candidate will:

-Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a track record of excellent outcomes

-Have up-to-date curriculum knowledge and be outward facing

-Be a passionate and innovative advocate for Languages

-Be totally committed to improving the life chances of young people

-Be a KS3/4 specialist in French

-Be team oriented and enjoy working collaboratively

The school are able to look at unqualified teachers for this role as well, so do not worry if you do not have Qualified Teacher Status, as the school will be able to put you through this while you are doing the job.
