Language Recruitment Service (LRS) is actively seeking an organised and friendly German-Speaking Customer Service advisor / Export Administrator to join the export desk of a leading multinational manufacturing company. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment alongside a supportive team, located in their UK head offices.
German Speaking Customer Service Advisor Responsibilities:
Provide exemplary customer service to German and English-speaking clients, handling all export documentation.
Efficiently process orders received via fax, email, and phone, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Issue order acknowledgments and utilize Sage software for administrative tasks.
Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with freight administrators, warehouse personnel, and carriers to obtain shipping quotes and necessary documentation.
Maintain electronic filing systems to organize and manage records effectively.
Support the Sales Team by providing order status updates and assisting customers with floor plans and quantity calculations.
German Speaking Customer Service Advisor Requirements:
Essential fluency in both German and English, both written and verbal.
Fluency in Dutch highly desirable
Previous experience in export administration useful
Demonstrated excellence in customer service, with strong communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Proactive approach to problem-solving.
