We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Geography Teacher to join a successful and motivated faculty in our school. The ideal candidate will: deliver engaging and interactive lessons through an enquiry-based approach foster a love of geography by making the subject relevant and exciting enjoy getting involved in fieldwork support students in their academic and personal development contribute to the school's extracurricular activities collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience be organised and respect marking/data-submission deadlines support with revision and y11 progression Interested candidates are encouraged to visit the school before making an application. The Humanities Faculty at Greig City Academy is supportive and has an open-door approach to teaching: ideas and experiences are welcomed and listened to. The successful candidate will work for a department which is flexible and strives to continually improve and update the curriculum offer. The Humanities Faculty includes Geography, History and Sociology. Geography is a thriving subject and is a popular choice at KS4 and KS5.
