Geography Teacher Required

Start Date: September 2024

Location: Alcester

Length of Contract - September 2024 - July 2025

Pay; To scale.

Empowering Learning is working in collaboration with a Primary School based in Handsworth, that is looking for a Geography Teacher to join with them from September 2024, until the end of the academic year 2025. The successful candidate will be a skilled practitioner with a deep passion for improving Teaching and Learning outcomes and ensuring that every child receive the best outcomes in Teaching. The successful candidate will be engaging and captivating.

Some of the duties and responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to,

  • Planning and delivering engaging and relevant lessons that meet the needs of learners.
  • Assessing student progress on a regular basis
  • Supporting students social and emotional development
  • Identifying students who may need additional support and connecting them with the resources they need.
  • Working effectively with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.

The successful candidate will have.

  • Experience of teaching KS3 and KS4 Geography
  • Have QTS
  • Have experience of planning, marking and assessments.
  • Be able to form positive relationships with staff and students,
  • Be creative and innovative in your teaching methods.
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Be understanding of the variable needs of every student.
  • Have an enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be willing to pay for a new check to be done.
