Geo-Environmental Engineer - Coaching and Mentoring for Chartership

An exciting opportunity to join our client's rapidly expanding ground investigation department within their esteemed larger multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy.

Our client is at the forefront of ground breaking projects, including the UK's first Carbon Capture Plant, diverse commercial developments, vital infrastructure initiatives, and high-end bespoke residential ventures. Their unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation has driven the growth of their Geo department, and they are now on the lookout for a motivated and dedicated individual to become a part of their team.

Ideally possess a minimum of 6 months hands-on experience in geo-environmental work, showcasing your competence in geotechnical environmental processes and practices.

Our client welcomes applicants with diverse educational backgrounds, extending beyond geology. If you have the necessary expertise in the environmental aspect of the field, your degree will not be a limiting factor. Nonetheless, candidates holding qualifications in geo-environmental or engineering geology are especially encouraged to apply.
This role demands a versatile skill set encompassing both field and office work. You should feel at ease working on-site and in an office environment, as the projects require adaptability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake comprehensive site investigations, encompassing phase 1 and phase 2 assessments.
  • Exhibit understanding in composing factual and interpretive reports, delivering valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in logging rock and soil data, contributing to a thorough comprehension of geological conditions.
