General Operative.

Avonmouth, Bristol

Full Time, Permanent.

Salary: �32,100

Benefits: Up to 20% bonus, Enhanced pension contributions, Overtime at x1.5, Enhanced sick pay scheme, 20 Shifts holiday, Fantastic development opportunities.

Hours: 4 on 4 off 2 days 2 nights (Average of 40 hours per week)

Randstad Engineering are currently looking for production operatives for an impressive client of ours. They are an Energy from Waste business that specialises in converting non-recyclable waste into renewable energy. This is a fantastic opportunity to not only develop your own career, but also contribute positively to the environmental initiatives in the UK!

Reporting in to the shift manager, as a level 2 operative, working inside the materials processing facility, your job will cover the following tasks:

  • Operating plant and process machinery.
  • Loading bales into plant machinery
  • Loading finished goods onto vehicles.
  • Working inside the Material Recycling Facility (MRF) and loading finished goods into bags and booking
  • Moving and emptying bins from the MRF
  • Using computer systems to dispatch loads
  • Carrying out cleaning, basic maintenance tasks and basic fault finding

You will have opportunities to develop and multi-skill your skills in order to progress into a level 3 position which comes with fantastic financial rewards.

To be successful in this position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing, production or process facility.
  • A willingness to assist where necessary- machinery operation, industrial cleaning, loading/unloading
  • A willingness to develop your career and contribute to a reputable business.
  • Previous FLT (Forklift) experience, beneficial.
