We are recruiting for General operative roles in the Sittingbourne, Kent area. Our clients are looking for various candidates for various roles as a warehouse operative, picker/packer and assembly operative.

As a General operative you will need to have:

• Excellent team-working skills to effectively collaborate with other members of a production/warehouse team.
• Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills to coordinate large volumes of goods.
• Honesty and trustworthiness.
• The ability to work effectively under limited supervision.

Details:

• Salary: £9.50 - £12.74
• Working Hours:
• 8 am-5 pm
• 9am-6pm
• 11am-8pm
• 7am-3pm/3pm-11pm/11pm-7am

• Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
• Duration: Ongoing

Role of a General Operative:

• General warehouse duties
• Rotating stock
• Picking orders with a scanner and order sheet
• Packing orders to get them ready for dispatch
• Unloading lorries/Loading lorries
• Manning machines
• Always maintain a clean and tidy workspace
• Working on an assembly line
• Keeping up with daily targets that are set
• Within these jobs, you must be able to work well within a team and communicate well
• Machine operating
