General Operative

CareerLink have a very exciting new opportunity which has become available in the WF4 4TD radius?

We are recruiting for a highly reliable & hardworking general operative to work for one of our phenomenal & well-established automotive supply chains.

The role would require you to work on a Monday - Friday basis from the hours of 06:30am - 15:00pm.

The pay rate is £10.42 phr

As a general operative you would be required to undertake the following duties;

• Working on different sections picking and packing the correct amount car parts which are stated on the order sheet.
• Loading and unloading delivery vans which come into the warehouse
• Utilising the WMS systems (Training will be provided)
• Keeping a clean and tidy warehouse environment - removing cardboard boxes and taking them to the outside of the warehouse & sweeping around the warehouse.

To be considered for the role you have/able to do the following;

• Must have a good level of counting and reading.
• Must have the ability to stand on your feet for the length of the shift & to be able to work in a cold warehouse environment.
• Must be computer literate and have a general undertanding of computers and systems.
• Must have good attention to detail
• Must be able to follow health & safety guidelines and procedures.
• Must be able to travel to the WF4 4TD radius for 06:30am.
