Careerlink are seeking an experienced General Manager who will oversee all operations in a defined location, ensuring strategic and operational objectives are met.

Working closely with the Regional Operations Director and lead the operations team, while liaising with commissioners and key stakeholders.

Salary: £55k - £60k

Standard Hours

Based in Hull

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead contact for defined contracts, managing senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Lead and manage all staff and activities within your team.
  • Drive culture change, maintaining operational service standards and commercial targets.
  • Oversee performance management of contracts.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain processes using continuous improvement practices.
  • Manage the operations teams (transport, logistics/warehouse, customer services) and provide full line management.
  • Organize ongoing training to ensure service standards and operational objectives are met.
  • Liaise with commissioners and partners to provide feedback and reports.
  • Ensure KPIs are met and service expectations are achieved.
  • Manage relationships with local authorities, NHS services, and other agencies for effective partnership working.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Operations, Commercial, or General Management.
  • Knowledge of ICES service offerings or related healthcare operations.
  • Experience in logistics, transport, and customer service protocols.
  • Strong team player with people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

  • Senior stakeholder management experience.
  • Business development experience.
  • Continuous improvement experience/qualification.
