Job Description
The General Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily operations in a busy distribution centre, with full P&L responsibility.
My client are an industry-leading 3PL business with great progression and development plans in place for employees of all levels.
The key responsibilities for the role of General Manager based in Sheffield will be:
Manage and oversee all warehousing and distribution operations across a large headcount site of over 300 people.
Oversee all aspects of H&S, driving a safety-focused culture.
Be customer-facing, communicating directly and dealing with any customer issues/enquiries.
Have full P&L responsibility, ensuring SLAs are met within budget.
Drive efficiency and productivity across the site, seeking out continiuous improvements.
Provide line management and assist in the progression of the management team on site.
The successful candidate for the role of General Manager based in Sheffield will have:
Previous experience in a General Manager role.
A strong background in warehousing/logistics.
Previous experience working within a 3PL environment, ideally with multiple contracts on site.
Experience managing a site's P&L.
Great people management skills.
Great customer service skills.
The successful candidate for the role of General Manager based in Sheffield will receive:
A salary of £80,000 DOE.
A company car/£5,500 car allowance.
An annual bonus.
