The Wizard Exploratorium (part of The Cauldron Co) is a unique and innovative concept driven cocktail bar and immersive experience based in the heart of Soho, London. We are currently seeking a new general manager to lead our fantastic team and help us on our mission to bring magic to life in the Capital!
The Wizard Exploratorium is looking to build on its already excellent reputation as one of the premier stopping points when visiting the city, for both tourists and locals alike!Even more than most, we rely on our high quality of service as well as our totally unique, and now world famous, immersive, magical potions making class and afternoon tea. Now a global industry leader in F&B immersive experiences The Wizard Exploratorium is looking to sharpen its presence and its beverage programme amongst the London nightlife scene.
The successful candidate will require:
Prior experience in managing small to medium sized teams in a food & beverage lead concept
Significant knowledge of cocktails and their production
The ability to take on new information and learn on the job
An autonomous approach to work and work/life balance
Excellent communication skills
Excellent individual man management skills and a flawless HR track record
Intermediate or above level use of Excel / Google sheets
Their own personal license to serve alcohol in England (not essential upon start as the successful candidate can have this facilitated by the company)

Our London site is a major part of the UK arm of our independently owned, yet trans-atlantic company. The opportunity to learn from extensive face time with the COO and operations director will be on offer with twice weekly check ins, as is internal progression for the right candidate.
As the GM of the site, main duties will include:
Day to day management and running of the immersive experience and cocktail bar
Contribution to a highly curated drinks programme with global reach
Team management & team building
Helping to formulate venue level strategy and events coordination
Maintaining company standards
Meeting financial targets, as guided by head office
