A little bit about the opportunity…
The Pembroke is situated on Coulsdon high street, right at the heart of the local community.
After a sizable investment in November 2023, this tradition single floor operation feels light, airy, and welcoming. The business has been expertly zoned allowing diners and sports fans to enjoy their experiences together.
Famed locally for delivering numerous reasons to visit from a superb range of cask ales, great quality food, awesome sports viewing and a calendar of weekly events from quiz night to live entertainment.
As with all of our ‘Proper Pubs’, one of the biggest sales drivers for the business is sport! The Pembroke has benefitted from recent investment with an emphasis on driving sport within the local area. There has been a unique sports zone introduced to the pub with darts and pool as additional sporting focuses for the pub.
The pub also offers quiz nights weekly as well as a DJ on a Friday & Saturday evening.
Greg Fisher our Area Manage for the Pembroke is looking to recruit a General Manager to work with who can really make a difference in the following areas.
The Team – You will be able to demonstrate how you will build a winning team and what winning would look like for you, the team, and the impact on the business.
Community – You will want to engage within the local community, build strong relationships with community groups, local charities as well as local authorities.
Standards – Demonstrate how you will be the one the others measure themselves against, with consistent delivery of stunning ales, great food and exemplary guest satisfaction scores too.
Sales Building – As well as everything sports and local teams, you will be able to recognise the opportunities at The Pembroke, you will be able to drive a robust Rhythm of The Week, capitalising on both daytime and evening sessions with your newfound relationships within the community.
In a nutshell, The Pembroke is a great pub with a lot more to offer. Greg wants to work with and support a General Manager who shares his passion for the pub and desire to drive sales further whilst ensuring we develop our team, WOW our guests and bathe in the accolades.
