General Manager

TQR Exeter is seeking an experienced General Manager for a luxury hotel located near Truro, Cornwall.

We are looking for a General Manager to join the business and develop all areas of the F&B and Hotel offering. You will have full control of the venue and will create new and exciting service cycles to offer the very best hospitality experience in Cornwall. They are open to further accolades, so they will encourage you to be creative and bold.

This is a great opportunity for a General Manager from a similar Country House Hotel or City Centre Boutique Hotel background.

Only someone with proven experience in achieving and maintaining multi-Rosette or Michelin standard environments will be considered for this role.

Package:

• Base Salary circa �65,000 DOE


• Share of house tronc.


• 28 days holiday per annum.

Candidate:

• Have industry-relevant qualifications.


• As the General Manager, you will need to be able to run the entire hotel operation in a disciplined and systematic manner.


• Delegating roles to your heads of department.


• Immaculate presentation standards.


• Excellent communication skills with guests and colleagues at all levels.


• Passion to exceed guest expectations the first time, on time, every time.


• Oversee H&S aspects of the business.


• Provide leadership to the team within the management structure, ensuring the team is well-trained, disciplined, and able to deliver an excellent product day in and day out.
