Working on behalf of a charity organisation, JO Recruitment are looking for an experienced Manager for one of their centres located in North East Lincolnshire. This is a permanent opportunity paying salary £30K. 35 hours per week. The post holder would be expected to work a shift pattern which will involve evening and weekend working. Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the role of the Centre Manager is to ensure the smooth operation of the Centre to provide a welcoming and clean environment for all visitors to the Centre. Ensure all policies and legislation are compiled with.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Provide welcoming environment to visitors

  • Being registered key holder and on call in an emergency

  • Ensuring all areas of the centre are clean and tidy at all times and take action to rectify any defects

  • Manage all aspects of the bar and shop in line with policy and procedures

  • Assisting visitors with phone top ups and data SIMs and with connecting with the internet

  • Maintaining a bureau de change

  • Line management of staff and volunteers

  • Attend committee meetings

  • Purchasing stock and merchandise

  • Managing Facebook account



Competencies:




  • Experience managing a team or supervisory skills

  • Numerate and literate

  • Hold a valid driving licence

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
