Moba is world leader in innovative machines for grading, packing and processing eggs. With more than 800 colleagues and a history going back over 75 years, we build the most high-quality technical systems, from design to production and from installation to service. As General Manager UK, your goal is to ensure our market and industry leading position for the long-term by delivering the most optimal total solution for our customers.
You are a self-starter that can bring structure, fresh ideas and is able to build a strong team, all while achieving optimal sales results. Your team consists of an area sales manager, a finance manager (supported by a financial assistant) and a service manager who leads a team of 15-20 service engineers / service supporting roles. The finance and service manager also have a reporting line to the global functional leaders (CFO and Global Service Manager). You report to the CCO. You ideally have proven general management capabilities, like to be actively involved in sales and have experience with capital goods. The position can be summed up further with the following result areas:
General leadership
Translate companywide ambition and strategy to ambition and strategy for the UK.
Lead by example showing exemplary teamwork and creating a company culture that inspires customers and employees, promotes improvement and innovation, and offers employees the opportunity to grow.
Managing, coaching and motivating all team members on results, competencies and company culture.
Responsible for optimal staffing within the set budget
Efficient and effective execution of all relevant processes and activities, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with overall company policy for relevant area (sales, service, HR, Finance), liaising with relevant global functional leaders.
Solution Sales & Customer Relationship Management
Develop & sell best value solutions through consultative approach at the right price based on the customer value and the positioning relative to competition in the assigned areas;
Ensure optimal logistics in delivery planning. Monitor delivery, invoicing and final payment;
Contribute to the development of the solution roadmap;
Realize optimal after sales together with the manager service;
Stay in touch with existing customers throughout the life cycle of solutions. Regularly discuss customer satisfaction, customer business performance and development, unaddressed customer needs, new order opportunities.
What do we expect from you?
5+ years of experience in a senior sales position, proven general management capabilities;
A Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, economics or business administration;
You lead by example and promote entrepreneurship and accountability;
You have a proven track record in the capital goods market or similar;
You have excellent command of the English language in a technical and commercial setting.
