General Labourer/Engineering

*Hunters 4 Staff* are delighted to be assisting our client to recruit a *General Labourer/Engineering* who will be based in the ST4 area of Stoke on Trent.Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.This is a very varied role with many different skills required. The ideal candidate will have experience in an *engineering* background as they will predominantly run a small finishing cell which involves lapping, washing, pressure testing, inspecting and packing of cylinder heads.The role will also include manoeuvring very large items using a *forklift*.Experience using an overhead hoist is required.You will need to have an open mind and be able to think on your feet. Training will be provided on deburring finished products to bring them to a top notch standard.No two days are alike in this position, work loads are constantly changing therefore providing a varied and interesting role.A *valid* counterbalance (in date) license is required, it must be accredited by *RTITB* or *ITSAR*.*Pay*£12 - 15 per hour, pay negotiable dependant on experience.A 10% shift allowance on top of this if on the 2 week rotate shiftOur client rewards skills/experience in the pay rates.*Hours*You will initially start on a day shift and then move onto a 2 week rotating shift.INDTEMPJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £12.00-£15.00 per hourBenefits:* Free parking* On-site parkingSchedule:* Day shift* Monday to Friday* Night shiftAbility to commute/relocate:* Stoke-on-Trent, ST4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
