Our client stands at the forefront of the civil engineering contracting industry, specializing in Energy & Renewables, Utilities, Infrastructure, and Transportation sectors.

A Civils General Foreman assumes responsibility for overseeing and managing construction activities at a designated project or site, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities include:


  1. Supervising and managing the day-to-day construction activities, ensuring smooth operations of resources onsite.
  2. Organizing and managing the construction site layout, material storage, access points, and waste management for optimal workflow and safety.
  3. Effectively allocating resources such as equipment, tools, and materials to support construction tasks and uphold productivity.
  4. Maintaining accurate records of daily work activities, assisting with 4WLAH plans, and reporting progress and issues to the site management team.
  5. Coordinating with the site manager and personnel to integrate, inspect, and complete work according to plan.
  6. Managing the usage and upkeep of construction equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  7. Ensuring all work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budgetary constraints.
  8. Collaborating with project managers and senior site personnel to report progress, identify challenges, and propose solutions.
  9. Ensuring compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and industry standards, and verifying correct methodology implementation.
  10. Supervising subcontractors to ensure alignment with project requirements and schedules, providing guidance and addressing issues.
  11. Providing technical support to subcontractors and personnel as needed.
  12. Conducting safety briefings and monitoring adherence to safety procedures, RAMS, and quality standards among site personnel.
  13. Monitoring construction activities for adherence to project specifications and promptly addressing quality issues.
  14. Managing site logistics, including plant, equipment, and materials, to ensure quality and quantity verification, distribution, and usage management.
  15. Monitoring worker productivity, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing measures to enhance efficiency onsite.
