General Foreman

A great opportunity for an experienced General Foreman to join one of the UK’s busiest contractors on a freelance basis. Our client is an industry leader, delivering major Civil Engineering projects across the country. We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Foreman to oversee civil engineering projects for an Environment Agency Framework in the Somerset area.

As General Foreman you will:

• Be responsible for managing operative and subcontractors, ensuring programme deadlines are met.


• Manage health and safety standards are upheld on site.


• Keep site diaries, daily allocations sheets, plant sheets, issue permits etc.


• Give daily briefings, conduct inductions and toolbox talks.

Our client requires a General Foreman with:

• Experience of working on civil engineering schemes


• CSCS Gold/Black card, SMSTS


• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary/Benefits:

• £325 - £375 p/day (PAYE/Umbrella)
