DMJ are delighted to partner with one of the UK's leading FTSE listed property groups in their search for a General Counsel & Company Secretary.
The role forms part of the Executive Committee and reports directly to the CEO and Chair. Governance, Legal, Risk and Health & Safety are highly respected functions across the business, this role will lead these departments and their continued evolution.
The group has enjoyed successive years of growth with ambitions to grow their footprint across the UK while delivering a first class service. The General Counsel & Company Secretary will be critical in delivering on these plans and therefore be expected to provide significant strategic input to the CEO, Chair and Board.
Due to the breadth of the role and need for an impact hire a strong track record in real estate, real estate finance and corporate real estate transactions in private practice and in-house is essential. Prior Group Company Secretarial experience, preferably in a FTSE listed company is desirable.
Our client is based in the North of England and will require presence in the office on a hybrid basis.
