General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist

As a Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist working for a private trust in North East of England, your proposed hours will be Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week in a female acute ward. This role is a full-time position and will commence as soon as possible for 4 to 6 weeks initially. To be considered for this role, applicants will need full GMC registration, an enhanced DBS, Section 12 and AC Status.

Responsibilities of the role

When working in this post, you will be overseeing 15 beds, predominantly caring for female patients in an acute ward. There is a weekly ward round, the role is supported by a capable advance nurse practitioner, who effectively takes on the tasks usually done by a ward level junior doctor. The covering RC needs to pick up all MHA roles.
