GCP Data Engineer

GCP Data Engineer | Cardiff / Newport | Inside IR35 | Hybrid | 6 months
Our client, a leading global consultancy, are looking for a GCP Data Engineer to join for an initial 6-month contract based in either Cardiff or Newport on a hybrid basis.Please note that in order to be eligible for this role, you must be a Google Certified Professional Data Engineer and a Confluent Certified Professional Developer.
ROLE: GCP DATA ENGINEER
LOCATION: NEWPORT OR CARDIFF (HYBRID)
IR35 STATUS: INSIDE
LENGTH: 6 MONTHS
Required experience:
Expertise in python and DataFlow/ Apache beam
Experience in handling streaming data
Strong experience in database replication using Message based CDC
Experience in using Kafka implementations in a secured cloud environment.
Configuration of Kafka Broker, Security. Schema Governance.
Experience in Confluent Control Centre Strong database modelling concepts and SQL
Experience using Cloud Spanner, Big Query, GCS
Working in Agile environment.
Development using Devops, Github, Confluence, Jenkins Google Certified
Professional Data Engineer(Must)
Confluent Certified ProfessionalDeveloper (Must)
