We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced GBS (Global Business Services) Project Manager to join our client's dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the successful implementation of critical GBS initiatives within the financial services sector.
About the Role:
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
Developing and maintaining clear project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Proactively identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Leading and motivating cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration between business stakeholders, IT, and GBS functions.
Managing project communication effectively, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and any potential roadblocks.
Utilizing GBS methodologies and tools to ensure efficient project delivery.
Staying current with industry trends and best practices in GBS project management.
Who You Are:
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the financial services industry.
You possess a strong understanding of GBS principles and methodologies.
You are a PRINCE2® Practitioner or hold a similar project management qualification (highly desirable).
You are an excellent communicator with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
You are a strong leader with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve common goals.
You are a resourceful problem-solver with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
You are proficient in project management tools like MS Project, Jira, or similar.
You have a deep understanding of financial services regulations (a plus).
