Actairs Site Services is currently seeking experienced Gas & Service engineer teams in the London area.
This is an ongoing long-term contract.
Working Day – 10 Hours ( 07:00 – 17:00 taking into account when traveling home to site and back home, average 8 hours on site )
Gas and Service Engineers Team Make up:
Option 1 : x3 man team
Mains & Service Layer
Service Layer/ NCO Level 1
Training with SHEA Gas
Option 2 :
x2 man team
Mains & Service Layer
Training with SHEA Gas
Typical Qualification :
Gas – Team Leader
SHEA Gas
SSSTS – Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme
NCO (Gas) Main Layer up to 355mm ( Distribution)
NCO (Gas) Service Layer ( Distribution)
SCO GB Trained – Checked AE/CP with network Controller (SC01 , 2) * Optional but desirable
SCO GB Trained – Checked AE/CP with network Controller (SC05) * Optional but desirable
Excavator 360 ( Tracked/1 Tone up to 10 Tonnes )
Forward Tipping Dumper ( all sizes exclude mini Dumper/Skip Loader below 1 tonne) Wheeled 180 Tipping )
Street Works (LA- Location and Avoidance of underground utilities , 01 – Signing, lighting and guarding
02 Excavation in the highway
03 Reinstatement and compaction of backfill materials
04 Reinstatement of sub-base and base in non- bituminous materials
05 Reinstatement in cold-lay bituminous materials
Gas – Assistance * Must be accompanied by a Team Leader

NCO (Gas) Assistant
NCO (Gas) Main Layer up to 355mm ( Distribution) * Optional but desirable
NCO (Gas) Service Layer ( Distribution) * Optional by desirable
