Garment Technologist

We have partnered with a prestigious luxury Womenswear brand who are seeking a talented Garment Technologist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering impeccably fitted and finished garments to the highest standards. This role requires experience working within a luxury or premium retailer, collaborating closely with the atelier and design team.
Key Responsibilities:
Expertise on garment construction, pattern technology, and fabric technology.
Quality and technical control of production prototypes.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise the production team, manufacturers and factories.
Collaborate with Atelier and PD during the production handover process.
Implement technical processes and Critical Path procedures.
Establish clear production pattern and grading rules to facilitate a smooth transition into bulk production.
Produce technical files in illustrator.
Proofreading and adjusting bills of materials in PLM.
Offer commercial solutions to challenges as they arise.
Qualifications and experience :
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position in the fashion sector
Experience with woven garments
Excel and Pack Office
Strong knowledge of illustrator
PLM experience is preferred but not essential
