Garden Centre Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Garden Centre Supervisor
on behalf of our well established client based just on the outskirts of Sleaford. Own transport is required due to location.This is an exciting opportunity to join an fast growing business.Working Monday to Friday with 1 day off in the week (this is a set day but tbc) and then working alternate weekends. Monday to Friday, #removed#. Saturday and Sunday #removed#Salary is negotiable depending on experience but starting from £32,500Duties will involve :· Planning & supervising staff for daily running of the department.· Use EPOS sales data for plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create engaging plant displays with clear and accurate POS.· Manage daily cleaning and housekeeping tasks to ensure all stock is clearly and accurately priced, always looking fresh, and the plant area environment is maintained to a high standard.· Lead and develop the team to look after and care for stock along with advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs.· Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers to further improve success of the department.· As duty supervisor, working as part of the management team to support duty cover throughout the Centre.The role will require the candidate:Ideally be a qualified horticulturalist with supervisory experience and a drive for success.Be a strong communicator who can motivate their team to deliver to a high standard.Be commercially aware to achieve sales and profit targets, being competent with EPOS systems and MS office applications.Be knowledgeable and passionate about plants and plant-related products.
