Game Developer, Match Officials - Canterbury Rugby Football UnionCanterbury Rugby Football Union (CRFU) aims to build on their position as one of the leading and most respected rugby organisations in New Zealand and are looking for a Game Developer - Match Officialsto manage the development, promotion and implementation of initiatives that increase the recruitment, retention, training and education of referees. To achieve this aim this full time role based in Canterbury, will be responsible for the delivery of training, resources and services along with promoting best practice to the referee associations, and clubs as well as providing education opportunities for players and coaches in the Laws of the Game and the role of the referee.Ideally, candidates would have experience in the following areas:Recognised referee experienceA background in sports administrationAn understanding of the game of rugby and the Laws of the GameProven relationship management and networking skillsExcellent planning, time management and organisational skillsAbility to train referees, coaches, and referee coachesOutstanding communication skills - both written and verbalPresenting or facilitating at training workshops You will also be required to work flexible hours and to travel throughout the Canterbury region.Above all else, you will possess a strong work ethic and a be team player - showing initiative and readiness to get stuck in and get the job done when required. Working alongside a passionate, committed and high-performing team, you will share our passion for Canterbury Rugby.
