Role SummaryExperience or proven track record working in a business development role in Foreign Exchange or Financial Services IndustryExperience in lead generation and cold calling business to businessKnowledge of Foreign Exchange markets a plusExcellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and negotiating skillsFCA Certification will be requiredExperience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.Resilience, tenacity, and positive outlook in a fast-paced environmentEntrepreneurial spirit and highly adaptableAmbitious, confident, and self-motivated individualExcels at building relationships, networking and influencing othersAbility to multi-task and detail oriented Overall Responsibilities Responsible for identifying and originating new business opportunities/client acquisition in FX with a focus on SMEs and mid-cap corporate clientsGenerate leads, qualify prospects and covert these into business relationships for corporate clients using FX products (cash, vanilla and structured) to risk manage FX exposureConduct research and market analysis to identify potential clients and industry sector trends in specific countries and regionsProspecting through outbound calling, email campaigns, face to face meetings and networking.Work towards monthly targets to achieve these objectivesResponsible for managing the sales-cycle from identifying new business opportunities to the onboarding processWork closely with internal teams supporting the Hedging Solutions business in EMEA (Sales, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Onboarding)Ensuring compliance with the Marex’s regulatory requirements under the FCAAdhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibilityTo report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
