Fundraising and Income Generation ManagerThis post is funded by The Keystone Fund and the Youth Investment FundThe Children and Young People’s Empowerment Project (CHILYPEP) is a registered charity that has worked with disadvantaged Children and Young People for almost 23 years. Our work is a combination of youth work approaches and principles, and early intervention and prevention services based on good practice, with young people’s voice at the heart of everything we do.We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fundraising Manager to lead the development of charitable fundraising here at CHILYPEP and drive forward our new Fundraising Strategy.Job title: Chilypep Fundraising and Income Generation Manager Ref CFIGM/2024Salary scale: Chilypep Scale 24 – £30,646.73 to 26- £32,511.03 (Depending on experience) Pro RataHours of work: 30 Hours per week. 37 FTEPension: 8% employer contributionLeave entitlement: 38 days leave, including bank holidays (pro rata)Other Benefits: Access to clinical supervision; BHN Extra’s: cycle to work scheme, bYond prepaid spending card and Extras Discounts.Place of work: Flexible working from Home with some office time at our Sheffield and Barnsley bases.Duration: This is initially a 1-year post with the aim of becoming permanent.We are looking for a dynamic, confident and competent Fundraising Manager who has a passion for making a change for children and young people and a flair for networking and partnership development to increase and diversify the income of our amazing Charity.In return, you will work in a supportive, caring organisation that values the talent and passion of our committed and creative staff team. With a range of benefits including a generous leave allowance and pension contribution, this is a great opportunity for the right candidate!You will have knowledge, experience and skills in:• Fundraising methods and techniques.• The requirements of Trusts and Foundations fundraising• The financial sustainability agenda for the voluntary and community sector.• Charitable trust fundraising from research to securing six figure grants.• Securing income from high level Trusts and Foundations• Developing successful corporate partnerships and donor bases• Developing and supporting volunteer fundraisersYou will have the ability to write complex applications, bids, reports and strategy papers and to translate complex information and adapt it to a variety of audiences and have excellent partnership working and networking skills.With the ability to co-ordinate a number of fundraising projects simultaneously, you will have excellent written, oral, networking and influencing skills, and be confident and diplomatic with a commitment to the highest standards of relationship management and supporter care.With proven ability to work both in a team and on your own initiative to meet objectives and work to tight timescales and deadlines, you will have excellent organisational skills, with an ability to manage a complex workload.You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent, through experience) with very good analytical and strategic skills and be exceptionally self-motivated with a flexible approach to the role, due to the need to work from home as well as in our office bases at times.
