Fund Accounting Manager

Job Description
A truly unique role with a small but growing Private Equity fund based in central London. Working directly under the CFO, you will have responsibilities across all Finance disciplines. These include oversight of fund accounting, management accounts, portfolio monitoring and ESG. You will be a fully qualified accountant with some relevant Private Equity experience. A broad role which will suit someone eager to develop new skills and work part of a highly entrepreneurial business
The Role
Helping to develop the portfolio reporting function including liaising with the finance teams at the portfolio companies to gather information for reporting to investors
Supporting the CFO in all areas of fund finance, including monthly management accounts, cash management and year-end financial statements
Working with the external administrator to meet investor reporting deadlines
Assisting the investment team with administration of investment opportunities
There will also be the opportunity to be involved in the development of the firm's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) portfolio management and fund reporting
Requirements
You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Have prior experience working in Private Equity. This could be in a fund accounting or management accounting capacity, from either a third party administrator or from an in-house role
Have excellent all round communication skills
Be willing to work as part of a small, close-knit team, where no job is too big or too small to undertake
Have a high degree of motivation and willingness to learn new skills
Enjoy working across a number of different workstreams at any one time
