Fund Accountant£40,000 - £45,000 + bonus & Study SupportWe are currently partnering with a professional services businesses focusing on real estate funds in their search for a Fund Accountant to join their team in London, in a newly created role as a result of their significant growth.The successful candidate will be working as part of a team, reporting directly to senior management and be responsible for the controlling and reporting of a billion-pound fund dealing with a variety of stakeholders. Responsibilities will include:Fund accounting and trial balance maintenance in accounting systemPreparation of asset and portfolio business planInvestment valuationsQuarterly and Annual Financial Statements and Investor ReportsProduction of SPV consolidated financial statementsAd hoc project work to assist the businessSetting up appropriate reporting protocols for portfolio companiesKey requirements for this role: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualificationPrevious Fund Accounting experience, ideally within a Private Equity firmStrong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRSGood commercial understanding of the industryConsolidation and multi-jurisdictional reporting experienceStrong stakeholder management experienceAdvanced Excel skillsIf this is of interest, please apply with an up-to-date CV ASAP!
