Functional Skills Tutor

You will be joining an established organisation with the aim of helping learners achieve their potential in English, Maths, and IT, guiding them towards further training or employment.

Role Summary

Support learners and employers in achieving Functional Skills Individual Learning Programmes
Use initial assessments and diagnostics to gauge learner capability and engagement.
Design, implement, and update Individual Learning Plans
Prepare and review session plans for Functional Skills Maths and English
Deliver remote teaching sessions for groups and one-on-one.
Identify and support individual learner needs, working with ALN/SEN colleagues.
Salary scale

This is a permanent , full-time position with a salary scale of £24,325 - £28,350 per annum (based on experience).

Working hours

37 hours per week.

Monday to Thursday: 8.30 am - 5 pm
Friday: 8.30 am - 4.30 pm

Minimum Level 2 Functional Skills in English, Maths, and ICT
