Job Title : Functional Skills Tutor
Location : Birmingham
Hours : Full-Time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri, 8:30 am 4:30 pm)
Salary : £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience & qualifications)
Role Overview :
Are you a skilled and experienced Functional Skills Tutor seeking a new opportunity? We have an exciting opening for a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor for our client based in Birmingham. You'll be joining a dynamic team focused on nurturing and supporting learners to achieve their functional skills qualifications in Maths, English, and ICT up to Level 2.
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver comprehensive Functional Skills English, Maths, and ICT up to Level 2.
Tailor learning plans to meet individual learner needs, ensuring well-prepared lesson plans.
Attain company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Individual Performance Plans.
Design and implement embedded learning for both individuals and groups to optimize learner progression opportunities.
Cultivate an environment conducive to developing the abilities, skills, and confidence of each learner.
Conduct regular assessments of learners' work to track progress effectively.
Essential/Desirable Criteria :
Proven experience in delivering Functional Skills or Maths and English to Level 2.
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in 14-19 provision.
Full Teaching Qualifications such as Cert Ed, C&G 7407, CTTLS, DTTLS.
Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire learners.
Willingness to undertake any relevant Teaching Qualifications if necessary.
Full, clean UK Driving License.
