Annual Salary: £41,829 - £46,318 (Inclusive of London Weighting Allowance)Location: Southwest London, WandsworthJob Type: Full-time We are seeking a Functional Skills Hub Manager to join our team within the Offender Learning Sector in Southwest London. This role is a unique chance to lead the delivery and quality assurance of the functional skills curriculum, making a meaningful difference
in the lives of learners. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and eager to contribute positively to the community. Day-to-day of the role:
Oversee the planning, delivery, and quality assurance of the functional skills curriculum within the establishment.Collaborate with the Local Education Manager and prison Governor’s representatives to ensure the educational provision meets the needs of the learners.Lead and support a team of specialist teachers and tutors, fostering a culture of high standards and continuous improvement.Implement and manage continuous quality assurance and improvement procedures.Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications:
A teaching qualification, minimum Cert Ed or PGCE.A degree or equivalent, which can include equivalent life/career experience.A Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy or above.Experience in implementing and managing continuous quality assurance and improvement procedures.A clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.Must have an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) qualification.
