Fully Qualified Dispensing Optician Manager

The dispensing Optician needs to be able to dispense all types of spectacle lenses (Varifocals, Bifocals and Single vision lenses of all thicknesses) as well as know how to dispense frames of all shapes and sizes. They do need to be versed at measuring PDs and heights for patients and be commercially aware. We do need a person that is a good communicator with all patients.

This person needs to know basic reception actions like making appointments and ordering contact lenses, as well as know about NHS vouchers and the Health & Safety of a practice.

This role requires a clean driving licence and they have to have their own car to travel between the different locations.

Our store is open 9am-5pm every day and Saturday mornings only 9am-1pm. They are required to work alternate Saturday mornings and will get a half day off in those weeks to make up the 35 hours per week schedule!

We need a person that wants to work with a small team of dedicated workers, who have been with us for along time and love their job
