Fullstack Engineer

Vital is looking for a passionate senior engineer to join us on our mission to revolutionize how healthcare is delivered today.
This is a fully remote position. However, you must be in the EST or GMT timezone.
Some of the early challenges you could be working on:
Reverse engineering API's for wearables/medical devices. Building a scalable fault-tolerant backend, that can handle large amounts of data we will be processing and the complexity of 50+ 3rd party API integrations. Building direct integrations to wearable devices and at-home remote patient monitoring devices. Building pipelines to scale dealing with the legacy labs, i.e. email ordering and scraping

You'll be a good fit if...
You like to wear many hats. We are a small team, with a lot of things yet to be figured out. You are comfortable operating in such an environment. You are comfortable with owning features and being the driving force behind them. We don’t have Product Managers. Engineers are responsible for managing their work. You care about the outcomes, rather than outputs.
Requirements
Proficient with React (Typescript). You have 3 years of professional experience. You are also experienced with HTML and CSS. Experience with Chakra , Tailwind or modern stacks. Good design sensibility. We don’t have a dedicated designer, so a lot of decisions will be left to you. Have good communication skills. You will interact with customers directly and on a daily basis. You are willing to do
backend work. If you don’t have experience doing backend - Python and Go
