An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the established Kingdom Cleaning Team as a full time GMP Cleaner, working at a prestigious GMP pharmaceutical site in Cramlington, NE23 area.

You will join a professional, friendly team where the culture and behaviours reflect those which are necessary on a site manufacturing pharmaceutical product.

As a team, achieving our broad variety of service missions whilst maintaining respect for colleagues and all those that we come into contact daily is a key objective of the local Kingdom Cleaning management team based on site.

This is supported by Kingdom Cleanings’ core values and resources including access to a number of employee services via a phone app.

Hours: On average 42.6 hours per week working the following 3-week pattern. Week 1 - Monday - Friday 07:00am -16:00pm. Week 2 - Monday - Thursday 13:00pm - 22:00pm, Friday 10:00am - 18:30pm. Week 3 - Sunday 22::00pm - 07:00am, Monday to Thursday 22:00pm - 07:00am.

Pay Rate: £12.05 per hour, Saturday's £18.075 per hour & Sunday's £24.10 per hour. 

The site is served by local bus routes, offers free parking, an onsite subsidised restaurant, and free vend hot drinks.

A uniform and any required PPE is provided free of charge appropriate to your role.

Responsibilities: The role requires:


  • This role is cleaning GMP production areas to written procedures to which comprehensive training will be provided. There is a requirement to understand and comply with written instructions and complete paperwork.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the cleaning specified areas allocated to give them ownership over their tasks.
  • Achieving high standards, you will ensure any task undertaken is carried out safely and in compliance against written operating procedures.
  • The capability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Previous basic cleaning experience and knowledge with additional on-site training will be provided.
  • Physical capabilities to use cleaning equipment and to operate a basic scrubber drier machine – full training given.
  • Some basic IT skills to complete ongoing mandatory online training - support given.
  • Completion of a comprehensive one-week site induction.
