Are you a passionate and dedicated English teacher seeking a long-term opportunity in Derby? ABC Teachers is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Long Term English Supply Teacher.



About the role

As a Full-Time Long Term English Supply Teacher with ABC Teachers, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to students in secondary schools. This position offers stability and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Full-Time English Teacher you will:



  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialism in English or related subject area.
  • Experience teaching English at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for English literature and language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).


Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:



  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
