Junior Front End Developer
Location: Hampshire, UK (2 days per week onsite)
Salary: £45,000
The Role
Our clients are seeking a motivated Junior Front End Developer to join their team in Hampshire, UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with limited professional experience to develop their skills in front-end development. As a Junior Front End Developer, you will work closely with experienced developers to build and maintain user interface components using Vue.js, Angular, React, or Node.js frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of user interface components using Vue.js, Angular, React, or Node.js frameworks.
Collaborate with senior developers to integrate front-end components with back-end services.
Participate in code reviews, learn from feedback, and maintain coding standards.
Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate design requirements into functional front-end code.
Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in front-end development.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Some experience or coursework in front-end development using Vue.js, Angular, React, or Node.js frameworks.
Basic understanding of web markup languages, including HTML5 and CSS3.
Familiarity with JavaScript and its core principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn from experienced team members.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with front-end build tools and pre-processors such as Webpack, Babel, or SASS.
