Role: Front End Developer (Marketing)
Location: Leeds, LS15 (with hybrid working after completion of training)
Salary: £competitive DOE plus extensive benefits

Working hours: 40 hours pw, Monday to Friday

What you’ll be doing?
Working directly with the digital experience team to optimise our new and improved single platform solution through the development of new components and tools, designed to enhance the user experience
Utilising Storyblok CMS to achieve the above, using a Reaact.js front-end and the utilisation of .NET microservice API calls
Review and help shape the technical direction of our products through a code review system, meaning you will have the input to suggest improvements
Who are we looking for?
A degree in computer science or related field with comparable, relevant experience
Solid experience in software development with knowledge of web design with a mobile first approach
Proficiency and understanding of web mark up including understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS, and experience of working with Tailwind
Proficiency in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS/JSX/JQuery and an understanding of TypeScript
Able to take ownership of project deliverables with experience in eCommerce, JIRQA and confluence
Knowledge of API integrations in collaboration with a mix of our Backend team and 3rd party API’s
Demonstrable knowledge and experience in writing reusable code, and source control such as Git/Azure DevOps
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and work arounds
Understanding SEO principles and ensuring applications adhere to them
Experience using task runner such as Gulp with NPM and mode, google analytics/google tag manager and Storyblok CMS or equivalent
Self-motivated team player with a can-do attitude who can work quickly and still deliver accurate work
Able to demonstrate a patient first approach at all times
