Freight Sales Executive - Aberdeen - Up to �40,000

Our client, who are a global logistics company are looking for a Freight Sales Executive to join their team in Aberdeen.

The Freight Sales Executive would be tasked to seek and secure new business opportunities whilst maintaining and developing the current customer base.

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00am to 17:30pm

Package:

• Salary up to �40,000
• 33 days annual holiday (including bank holidays)
• Auth pension plan
• 2x death in service
• Healthcare plan (after probation)

The Freight Sales Executive would be responsible and accountable for the following:

• Identify a variety of sales opportunities (Prospects) across all verticals & convert new business Maintain and develop existing customers through regular planned meetings
• Respond to and follow up on any sales leads, from all sources, in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure sales activity and process are in line with all relevant compliance
• Develop sales plan and prioritise appropriately to deliver business objectives & achieve KPI's
• Develop & Maintain a sales target pipeline on the company's CRM system
• Deliver on client satisfaction and service excellence
• Deliver effective sales presentations to prospective customers
• Maintain and report all relevant customer information on the company CRM system
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities
• Liaise with operations personnel to identify customer service issues and address them appropriately
• Work collaboratively across the business to maximise sales opportunities
• Attend meetings and business seminars as requested by the Line Manager
• Organise and attend client hospitality events when required
• Meet and exceed company standard expectations in relation to call rate and pipeline KPI's
• Ensure the creditworthiness of customers to ensure they are suitable to do business with and assist with credit control
