Freelance Site Manager

Vacancy: Freelance Site ManagerUnite People are working alongside a specialist construction contractor to hire a Senior Site Manager, based in the North West of the UK. You will be based on a new build commercial unit; managing from start to finish of covering all elements of a new build project including groundworks, steel frame, brick/ block construction, roofing and internal fitout. The successful individual will be self-motivated, forward-thinking, and have experience of successfully delviering new build commercial, retail, or mixed use developments. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects from start to finish.Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.Manages the relationship with the sub-contractors onsiteDrive the project ProgrammeDrives the pace of the project, planning work aheadEnsure there is an efficient monitoring and registration process in place for site staffMaintain high-quality standards throughout all phases of construction.Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.Monitors and control costs, budgets and commercial expectations onsite.Required Qualifications & TrainingTrade or Engineering backgroundCSCS Black CardSMSTSFirst AidStrong People Management experienceAbility to deal with conflicting priorities and challenging stakeholders and/or sub-contractorsStrong people skillsFor more information, please contact Brad Burgin at Unite People Sheffield or submit a CV for application.
